BECOME A NEW SENIOR REFEREE
Refereeing is a great opportunity for ex players and those wishing to keep involved in sport to be a part of the other side of football, whilst keeping active and social. KDFRA have many dedicated senior members, including Dougal Graham (pictured on the right), who has refereed for over 35 years with KDFRA!

Senior Referees will primarily officiate older youth football matches, as well as afternoon men and women all age, over 35, and over 45 football matches. Just a couple games over your weekend should cover your petrol expenses for an entire month! In addition, because refereeing is seen as a hobby, your refereeing income is non-taxable!
To become a referee, there is a $290.00 course fee, which includes the cost of becoming an accredited referee, your first year of membership, and also covers all of your uniform and equipment needed. You can easily earn that money back by getting on the park and refereeing some matches.
The Association will provide you with plenty of coaching and feedback in your early days of refereeing, so that we can help you continually develop and improve your skills!
