RETURNING MEMBERS FROM 2022

So you've decided to return for another year of refereeing!

​

We're very excited to have you back, and look forward to seeing you out on the park in 2023!

​

For those who refereed with KDFRA in 2022, see the instructions below for information as to how you can update your membership for this year!

1a. (Only applicable if you did NOT register in 2022)
     Claim Account on PlayFootball

The old 'My Football Club' has been replaced by a new system called Play Football. Before you can register, you will need to:

  1. Visit www.account.footballnetwork.com.au/register;

  2. Use the exact same details that you would have used on MyFootballClub on the 'Create your Football Account' page;

  3. Visit the KDFRA registration portal on PlayFootball.com.au (click on link);

  4. Click 'Get started' and proceed to the 'Claim Profiles' page;

  5. When prompted, check both the 'Me' circle and the 'Link' box, and then click continue (see screenshot).

1b. Renew Membership

There is a $95.00 membership fee.

​

To pay your membership fee, visit KDFRA registration portal on PlayFootball.com.au (click on link); and

  1. Click 'Get started';

  2. Click 'Already Have an Account' and then login using your Email address and Password;

  3. Click 'Continue';

  4. Select the 'Returning Junior Referee' or 'Returning Senior Referee' package depending on your age;

  5. Update your contact details if necessary;

  6. You will be required to upload a recent picture of yourself for identification purposes;

  7. If you are over the age of 18, you will be required to provide KDFRA with your PAID Working With Children Check number;

  8. Follow the payment prompts

  9. NOTE: If you want to use your Active Kids voucher to part pay for your registration, you can do so in the payment section of My Football Club, by placing it in the appropriate text-fill box

Reference: Please include your surname, initial and ‘Membership’ in the reference

How to apply your Active Kids voucher

2. Attend Pre-Season Technical Update

As part of the renewal process, you are required to attend one of the scheduled Pre-Season Technical Updates (PSTU). Without attending a PSTU, you will not be able to have your membership renewed, meaning that you will be unappointable for the season.

The dates of the 2023 PSTU will be announced in due course.

Q: Do I have to attend a PSTU to referee in 2023?

A: Yes, it is a compulsory requirement of renewal.

​

Q: How long should the PSTU last?

A: Approximately 3 hours.

​

Q: What is the best payment method?

A: Preferably Credit Card, but KDFRA also accept direct debit (details can be found on MyFootballClub).
